Bué the Warrior, aka Dave De Rop, is a pioneer in the Belgian street art scene. He grew up in a family of cartoonists. Bué has developed his own accessible visual language via colour and positive energy. With his colourful creations, he has left his mark on the streetscape not just of Ghent but also of other cities around the world. In plaats van de grijze betonnen muur zagen de buurtbewoners er liever een tekening in felle kleuren, die kleine kinderen aantrekt. Uiteindelijk bleek het ontwerp van Bué het meest aan te sluiten bij de fantasie van kleine kinderen. Bué the Warrior, aka Dave De Rop, is een pionier in de Belgische street art.
