- 31957 articleBody " <div class="paragraph paragraph--type--text paragraph--view-mode--full"> <h2>Herinrichting</h2> <p>Ledeberg heeft er een <strong>aangename ontmoetingsplek</strong> bij. Naast voetbalmogelijkheden creëerde de Stad er ook een rustige tuin met kleinere speelplekken. Een nieuwe pergola vormt de ideale plek om te verpozen. Jong en oud voelen zich opnieuw thuis op het Centrumplein.</p> <p>Ook de omliggende groene ruimtes kregen een grondige opfrisbeurt. Vanaf de tuin van de Welzijnsknoop kwam een doorkijk naar de speelplaats van de school Benedictuspoort. Daarnaast maken <strong>nieuwe doorgangen</strong> van en naar het Centrumplein het mogelijk om op een veilige manier vanaf de Hundelgemsesteenweg tot in het centrum van Ledeberg te geraken.</p> <h2>Smaaklik</h2> <p>Op het nieuwe Centrumplein in Ledeberg prijkt het <strong>kunstwerk SMAAKLIK </strong>van de Zuid-Afrikaanse kunstenaar Ismail Farouk. ‘Smaaklik’ is Afrikaans voor ‘Smakelijk’. Tijdens het schooljaar ‘14-‘15 vormde het kunstwerk de basis voor een educatief Noord-Zuidproject in samenwerking met een Zuid-Afrikaanse basisschool. De kunstenaar realiseerde in Johannesburg verschillende sociaal-artistieke projecten en logeerde voor deze opdracht een aantal keer in Ledeberg waar hij kennismaakte met de buurt, haar verenigingen en
