Er blijven evenveel parkeerplaatsen, maar ze verhuizen naar andere plekken in de wijk.</li><li>Op de plek waar nu de 6 woontorens staan, komen <a href="https://stad.gent/nl/plannen-en-projecten/nieuwe-sociale-appartementen-kikvorsstraat">nieuwe groepen van appartementen</a> in het park. Elke groep appartementen krijgt een binnentuin.</li><li>De grote groene zone tussen de gebouwen wordt helemaal vernieuwd. We maken een <a href="https://stad.gent/nl/plannen-en-projecten/project-nieuw-park-voor-nieuw-gent">park</a> met toegankelijke wandelpaden en plekken waar je andere mensen kan ontmoeten, waar je kan rusten, tuinieren, spelen en sporten.</li><li>Er kunnen ook betere wandel- en fietspaden komen naar de De Deynesite, de Oudenaardse Steenweg en de Pintelaan.</li><li>De sociale woningen op de site Tine Hannick werden afgebroken. Thuispunt Gent zal hier nieuwe kantoren en 25 sociale woningen bouwen.</li></ol> </div> <div class="paragraph paragraph--type--text paragraph--view-mode--full"> <h2><a class="ck-anchor" id="sociale-doelstellingen"></a>Sociale doelstellingen</h2><p>Het stadsvernieuwingsprogramma Nieuw Gent Vernieuwt gaat over meer dan alleen stenen. We werken aan 4 (sociale) doelstellingen:</p><ul><li><div><span>Inzet op kwetsbare bewoners (kinderen, ouderen, psychisch kwetsbaren of bewoners met een verslavingsproblematiek)</span></div></li><li><div><span>Inzet op een kwalitatief vrijetijdsaanbod</span></div></li><li><div><span>Kracht en positivisme van de wijk en empoweren</span></div></li><li><div><span>Activeren en laten participeren van bewoners</span></div></li></ul><p>Samen met buurtorganisaties Campus Atelier, de Circusplaneet, KAA Gent Foundation, Poco Loco en de Zuidpoort investeert de Stad Gent<span> in </span><a href="https://stad.gent/nl/nieuw-gent-vernieuwt/nieuw-gent-levendige-wijk"><span>mensen</span></a><span>, een kwaliteitsvol vrijetijdsaanbod, ondersteuning, ontmoeting en participatie.</span></p><p><span>In </span><a href="https://stad.gent/nl/plannen-en-projecten/de-serre"><span>De Serre</span></a><span> bouwen bewoners en buurtorganisatie samen aan een groeiplek voor de buurt.
