You will make an appointment through the link in the email to <strong>apply </strong>for your A-card. At the counter, you will receive a <strong>temporary residence document (annex 15)</strong>.<br>If your documents are not in order, Migration will forward everything to the Immigration Office. Note that this may delay your invitation.<br>If your A-card expires while you are waiting for a response, Migration will send you a digital appendix 15 while awaiting a decision.</li><li>Collect your residence card. About 4 weeks after applying for your residence card, you will receive a letter with your codes by post. Only then can you collect your new residence card. The validity period of the A-card may be shorter for shorter study periods, shorter durations of the scholarship, or a blocked bank account.</p><p><strong>PhD students</strong> can receive an <strong>A-card</strong> for the duration of the scholarship, with a <strong>maximum of 2 years</strong>.
