Gent profileert zich daarin als rebels én romantisch. De focus verbreedt opnieuw van binnenlands naar internationaal toerisme. </strong></p><h2>Knipoog naar Londen en Parijs</h2><p>Met de campagne profileren de Vlaamse kunststeden zich in het buitenland opnieuw als toeristische topbestemming, met de nadruk op de voordelen van een uniek imago buiten de gebaande paden. In de eerste campagnebeelden (zie foto) vergelijkt Gent zich met een knipoog met steden zoals Parijs en London. toeristen. Huidige campagnes zoals <a href="https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/18094597429231129/">Ghent Without You</a> en het nieuwe <a href="https://visit.gent.be/sites/default/files/media/doc/2021-04/Use%20It%20Plan%20Gent%202021.pdf">USE-ITplan</a> houden tijdens de coronatijd onze Arteveldestad bovenaan het wenslijstje van potentiële bezoekers ‘voor als het weer mag’. Afhankelijk van de situatie per land worden deze digitale campagnes verder uitgebreid om citytrippers te overtuigen om voor Gent kiezen en een verblijf te boeken.</p> </div> " news.
