From large-scale industrial projects to small-scale start-ups and citizen initiatives. To accelerate and strengthen these actions, Ghent will now set up a Fair Local Green Deal with its stakeholders.</span></span></span></p> <p><span><span><span>On June 27 2022 Ghent’s City Council signed an agreement with ICLEI, a renowned international organisation that supports cities in designing a Fair Local Green Deal. <a href="https://iclei.org/">ICLEI</a> (Local Governments for Sustainability) is a global network of more than 2500 local and regional governments committed to sustainable urban development.
