Langs de wandellussen zorgt een audiogids voor interessante weetjes.</strong></p><p>Gent zag er in een ver verleden helemaal anders uit. De Stad Gent en Proximus sloegen de handen in elkaar om dat cultureel erfgoed tastbaar te maken via augmented reality. Met de gratis app Lens On Ghent genieten Gentenaars en bezoekers van een uitgestippelde stadswandeling en enkele interactieve ervaringen onderweg.</p><p>Wie op de Bijlokesite rondwandelt, kan digitaal 'binnengluren' in de eeuwenoude concertzaal en beleeft de transformatie van middeleeuws hospitaal tot het hedendaags muziekcentrum De Bijloke. In het Prinsenhof komt het reusachtige Hof ten Walle opnieuw tevoorschijn, een volledig ommuurd paleis dat doorheen de eeuwen bewoond werd door graven, hertogen en rijke patriciërs, maar in verval raakte. Liefhebbers kunnen hun route bovendien naar believen inkorten of uitbreiden aan de hand van verschillende wandellussen op een digitale kaart, goed voor zo'n 13 kilometer stapplezier.
