Doe dit vóór 20 mei.</a> </div> </div> </div> <div class="paragraph paragraph--type--text paragraph--view-mode--full"> <p>De Uitbreiding van het Bijgaardepark maakt kans op de Prijs Publieke Ruimte. Die wordt toegekend op het Congres Publieke Ruimte dat plaatsvindt op 20 mei 2025 in het BMCC in Brugge. We kunnen ook de publieksprijs in de wacht slepen. Hiervoor nemen we het op tegen 5 andere projecten. Ook jouw stem telt!</p><h3>Ons Project</h3><p>Dicht bij het centrum van Gent herontwikkelde sogent een verlaten metaalfabriek tot een levendig cohousingproject en een wijkgezondheidscentrum. De Stad Gent vormde het zuidelijke deel van de oude fabriek om tot een openbare groenzone. Dat park verbindt het woonproject met het bestaande Bijgaardepark, dat in één klap 2.000 m² groter werd.<br><br>Veel mensen uit de dichtbevolkte Dampoortwijk komen in het <a href="https://stad.gent/nl/buitenlocaties/bijgaardepark">Bijgaardepark en de uitbreiding</a> graag genieten van de luwte en het groen, in het midden in de stad en vlakbij Dampoort-station.</p> </div> Ruimte</h3><p>De Prijs Publieke Ruimte wordt georganiseerd door <a href="https://www.publiekeruimte.info/">Infopunt Publieke Ruimte</a>. Voor deze editie werden 75 projecten ingezonden door steden, gemeenten, ontwerpers en projectontwikkelaars. Een onafhankelijke jury selecteerde in twee rondes 56 projecten die een plaats kregen in het Praktijkboek en de Databank Publieke Ruimte. Uit die selectie werden zes projecten genomineerd voor de prijs en kregen tien andere een eervolle vermelding.</p> </div> " news.
