Er beauftragte den Architekten Pieter Huyssens mit dem Bau eines Priesterseminars an der Biezekapelstraat. Dessen Türen öffneten erstmals im Jahr 1625. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte wurde das Gebäude erweitert und veränderte sich je nach Funktion. Eine beeindruckende Seminarbibliothek wurde hinzugefügt, und im 19. Jahrhundert folgte eine umfassende Renovierung. Aber schließlich wurde das Gebäude für die vielen Schüler zu klein.
